Back-to-School Support for Families Impacted by Foster Care
This year, KinMart looks different.
Instead of hosting one large event, we’re putting school supplies directly into the hands of trusted adults who are already walking alongside children, youth, and families impacted by foster care.
Because a backpack can help a student start the school year prepared. A relationship can help change the course of a life.
For years, KinMart helped students start the school year prepared through a large community event. This year, we’re taking a more relational approach.
Instead of asking families to come to us, backpack kits will be delivered by Alliance Prevention Network responders and Don’t Go Alone mentors who are already walking alongside children, youth, and families impacted by foster care.
Each kit meets a practical need, but it also strengthens something deeper: a trusted relationship. Because when support comes through someone who knows your story, it becomes more than supplies. It becomes a reminder that you are seen, supported, and not alone.

Engaging the foster care crisis is not about rushing into action. It is about moving from clarity to discernment to supported presence.
Build Backpack Kits
Help equip a student for the school year by building a backpack kit valued at approximately $75. Every backpack will be delivered through a trusted relationship by an Alliance Prevention Network responder or Don't Go Alone mentor.

Select an Elementary, Middle School, High School, or College backpack kit.
STEP 2
Purchase & Pack Supplies
Use the provided supply list to build a backpack kit valued at approximately $75.
STEP 3
Drop Off Your Backpack
Bring completed backpack kits to Grace Point Church on July 21 from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
STEP 4
Relationships Deliver the Rest
Alliance Prevention Network responders and Don’t Go Alone mentors will personally deliver the backpacks to students and families they already know and serve.
